 Bollywood is really good at Romantic stories, it makes it teary, happy, excited, all in the feels. However, Bollywood is also really good at making hopeless romantics end up alone. The list is endless of such characters who deserved a better ending. 

Let’s walk through some of the characters who definitely deserved a better ending. 

1.  Aman

Movie: Kal Ho Na Ho

 Aman is played by Shah Rukh Khan, who is like “Anand” of the movie, Kal Ho Na Ho. Fighting with his illness, he tries to spread as much joy as possible. The movie has the power to make us cry, every single time we watch it. And we watch the movie every time hoping that Aman will get a better ending but he does not. 

2.Veronica 

     Movie: Cocktail

 

Veronica, our beloved queen who has set an example of love and friendship. Deepika Padukone has so beautifully embodied the role so well that it makes us sob every time we see her. 

 

The character is the relatable one when it comes to real-life romantic relationships, however, not everyone is so pure-hearted to maintain a good friendship. Veronica out of everyone really deserved a better happy ending for herself.

However, even though the film is headlined by the two, it is Kashibai who steals the show with her dutiful, generous, and pure-heartedness.

The courage Kashibai shows while being left behind to sort the mess is really gut-wrenching.

 Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is essentially a film that looks at the dynamics of romance and friendship in contemporary society.

After Ayan (Ranbir Kapoor) gets heartbroken after having unrequited feelings for his friend Alizeh (Anushka Sharma), which is when Saba (Aishwarya Rai Bachchan) a middle-aged, divorced poet enters his life.

Whilst Saba is beautiful and somewhat successful, we see her battle this inner-loneliness where she seeks to be desired, rather than the one having to chase.

However, despite the fact that she loves Ayan, seeing that he doesn’t feel the same about her, she takes the mature decision of letting him go. She deserved better and so did Alizeh and so did Ayan.
