Anushka Sharma is a renowned Bollywood actress, she has made her name in the industry for her amazing acting skills along with her much-celebrated production debut in 2015. 1.  Band Baaja Baarat

Directed by: Maneesh Sharma

 

The movie came out in 2010, 2 years after the acting Debut of Anushka Sharma. The movie is a gem of Bollywood, starring Ranveer Singh who made his debut in this movie.

The movie is a story about two young adults from Delhi, who are trying to make a career for themself. Anushka Sharma plays the role of Shruti Kakkar who is a budding entrepreneur trying to get into the wedding planning business. 

 

She portrays a headstrong woman with a vision, who does not let anything stop her from getting to her empire, we are sure the movie surely inspired many college students in many ways. We love a strong, hardworking and smart working woman and Anushka did justice to the character. 

 

2.          Phillauri 

          Directed by: Anshai Lal

 

Phillauri is a Hindi Fantasy Comedy movie, the film stars Anushka Sharma, Diljit Dosanjh as the main leads. The movie is about 2 stories in 2017 where Kanan discovers that he is Manglik when he is about to marry his long time girlfriend. So the elder in the family decides that he needs to marry a tree before the actual marriage. He is then haunted by the ghost from the tree because her spirit was in the tree.

We then get to know about the story of Sashi, played by Anushka Sharma. We love the simplicity with which Anuska played the role, with the duality of a secret poet. We absolutely adore her in the Punjabi accent.


3. Dil Dhadakne do 

Directed by: Zoya Akhtar

 

The movie is about a dysfunctional family, and how on a cruise trip they try to find something for themself. We see Anushka as a dancer in the Cruise, she gets close with Kabir Mehra who is played with Ranveer Singh. 

Anushka comes off as a strong independent woman who does not shy away from standing up for herself. She always corrects Kabir whenever he crosses the line and does not live to please others and say things as they are. We absolutely love the subtle msg her character sends across. 

 

4.NH-10 

Directed by: Navdeep Singh

 

NH-10 is the production debut of Anushka Sharma, she also starred as the main lead in the movie. Nh-10 is one of the few good female-centered contemporary movies. The story is gripping and more of a dark reality of our Nation. Anushka has mostly done romantic comedies or light-hearted movies but in this, we see a completely different character.

This movie has been critically acclaimed because of her production debut and her acting as a female who can look after herself and others when needed.
