 Priyanka Chopra has been in Bollywood ever since we can remember, she has given us some unforgettable stories and rhythms to dance on when we fall in love, or rhythms to cry on when we go through heartbreaks. 

Now taking on the cinema globally, and making Bollywood proud. Priyanka has been constantly setting goals for roles and achievements. 

 

She has been recently seen in the Bollywood film White Tiger on Netflix and before her next projects come, let’s have a look at some of her commendable works-

1.  Fashion

 

A starry-eyed small-town girl, Meghna comes to the City of Dreams, Mumbai, and plunges into the highly competitive Mumbai fashion industry.

 

Meghna has to navigate this difficult world filled with pitfalls and temptations. She finds success quickly, only to realize that she lost her identity and everything she believed in. Eventually, Meghna goes on to become a supermodel with more than just a few skeletons in her closet. The character development in the movie keeps us hooked on the story. 

 

2.Dil Dhadakne Do

 

This was a star-studded family drama with a huge ensemble cast including Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Farhan Akhtar, Rahul Bose, and of course, Priyanka Chopra.

 

Priyanka plays a successful entrepreneur who has made it to the Forbes list of top entrepreneurs, solely on her own. 

However, in her personal life, she is not afforded the same respect. She finds herself in an unhappy marriage with a domineering man and her relationship with her parents is somewhat strained. The drama follows how the family of four, where Priyanka is the older daughter, irons out its differences and gets ready to make a new start.

3.Bajirao Mastani

This epic romance narrates the love story of Peshwa Baji Rao and the ethereally beautiful Marathi warrior princess, Mastani. Priyanka plays the Peshwa's first wife, Kashibai, who is heartbroken when Mastani turns up in the court, proclaiming to be married to him.

Priyanka does a brilliant job as the dignified Kashibai who is deeply in love with her husband but accepts Mastani, in time. She demonstrates the most show of strength when she asks for Mastani to be united with Bajirao, hoping that the sight of her will save Bajirao's life when he's severely wounded in battle.

4.Kaminey

 

Priyanka plays Sweety, a girl caught between two twins, Charlie and Guddu, in the dark underbelly of Mumbai's underworld. She is a firebrand who does her best to keep Guddu, whom she loves, out of trouble.

 

This hard-hitting drama saw Priyanka in a supporting capacity, but it proved her worth as an actor ready to take on empowering roles.

5.Barfi 

Considered one of Priyanka Chopra's best performances to date, this movie is a beautiful tale of young Murphy or "Barfi," as he navigates his complex feelings for two young girls, Jhilmil and Shruti.

Barfi is full of life and curiosity and is unable to hear or speak. He falls for the lovely Shruti, who loves him back, but then along comes Jhilmil and Barfi finds himself connecting with her differently. Priyanka Chopra plays the autistic Jhilmil and she delivers a power-packed performance as the adorable young girl who is both caring and fiercely protective of the man she loves.
