Love Breakups Zindagi, love in the new age. The movie revolves around Jai and Naina, played by Zayed Khan and Dia Mirza. The two main leads were in love with two other people from the start, it is kind of given that they are bound to be together but the film tests us with, when and how? Both of the main leads are unhappy in their relationship because of very quintessential reasons for millennials.  We love the honesty shown in this movie, but it is too happy to go merry! Breakups are ugly in real life, crying for hours, arguing, fighting, going back to memories, and more. But in the movie people are too easy on each other. 

 

Cyrus Sahukar plays Jai’s closest friend. Is also a part of a very funny story that involves Tisca Chopra,  who is 38 in the movie, and although it is a love story at scenes it will remind you of motherly affection.

The movie is a good watch on a lazy day as the narrative is slow and almost moves as if in real-time. The Romantic comedy mood will have you hooked throughout. So you might as well get cozy for the long watch. 

 

Zayed khan’s role as a young executive is good to watch, his comic dynamic in the film feels good and will make you laugh out loud. The soundtrack of the movie is quirky and fun, composed by the duo Salim- Suleman.  The movie is full of funny cameos, from Shah Rukh Khan to Boman Irani, Farida Jalal, Shabana Azmi, Soni Razdan, and Ritesh Deshmukh. The duo of Zayed Khan and Shah Rukh Khan is also seen in Main Hoon Na. The unexpected cameos tie the movie together and make it a fun watch altogether.
